Big Trip---Thoughts and conclusions

Big Trip---Thoughts and conclusions.

A few reflections----in no particular order.
Hopefully Ginger will add some pictures and thoughts of her own later

  • Do NOT pack so much stuff in the future! Took way too many clothes, books, and DVDs.
  • Southern hospitality is a real thing. I was amazed at the friendliness and courtesy of virtually everyone we met. Hotel staff, waitresses, bartenders, just everyone.
  • I still love traveling, but at 70 I'm slowing down a little----not giving up, just slowing down.
  • The music world is much friendlier and cooperative than I would have imagined.
  • The Pagan/Spirit community is extremely welcoming, inclusive, accepting,
non-judgmental and outright happy and friendly.
  • Musicians need to remember that just because they CAN turn the sound up to max volume, they do not NEED to.
  • Trail mix is good.
  • We don't need to make America great----it still is!
