Up
early (earlier than I wanted….yawn) and back to the festival to
find out where Ginger's workshop is to be.
After
several false leads we found the spot and set up the harps, whistles
and shakers. A small audience (attendees will be trickling in all day
I think) but they seemed to enjoy it. I was proud of Ginger.
Since
his workshop started next, we were able to present a gift of mead to
the bard Arthur Hinds from his old friend Jerome “Taliesin”
McAlpine.
Listened
to part of Arthur's workshop---would love to have heard the whole
thing, but too many things going on simultaneously, so we went to
listen to our friend Beltana Spellsinger perform.
After
that, we grabbed a bite to eat and I went back to motel to cool
off/relax, while Ginger practiced with several artists she is going
to perform with in the next several days.
It's
a beautiful day, and there's even a breeze, but 90+ degrees in
Georgia IS noticeable.
For
the evening we listened to several musicians perform, each of which
could have been a concert in itself.
Finally
got to bed for a good night's sleep.
